Re: Epsom Salts Bath...many thanks, Paulette
I tried the
Epsom Salts /baking soda bath and would like relate experiences of the past week. Three testimonials, so bear with me.
(1)....I am 61 years young and am bothered with cubital tunnel syndrome. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at work were particularily grueling and I ached all over , mostly arms and hands. Arms and hands tend to get numb. I remembered what Paulette had said about
Epsom Salts drawing out toxins and the baking soda absorbing them. I used 1 cup of each in a tub of hot water and soaked for 20 minutes and then showered. Normally I would sleep for 4 hours and would be hurting so bad, I would have to stay up. This time I slept all night and had very few aches the next morning.
(2)....That day I had discussed the theory with my wife (of 38 years) and she tried it also (different tub of water) with similar results. Next day she mentioned that she has a problem with small bumps under her skin and had been to a dermatologist with no results. ONE bath and it started to clear up.
(3)....Neighbor's daughter, who is 35, is a waitress at a local steak house. She was scheduled to work 12 hours on Thanksgiving
Day. I gave her enough
Epsom Salts and baking soda for a couple of baths. She said that normally after such a day that sleeping was difficult with the pain in her feet and legs. Also that arising the next day would take a few seconds for her legs to work properly. She did the bath when she got home and had none of the problems. No leg or foot pain and no having to wait to let the legs come to life.
In all three cases, the sleep was long and peaceful. Folks, you just have to try this. It will most assuredly become a regular part of life around here.
Paulette, thank you for passing this along.
