You are between a rock and a hard place considering your mother's age. The herbs will take a long time (a month minimum) but are easier on the system, she would still have unpleasant side effects dealing with die-off. Paragone seems to be the most effective parasite cleanser (has the most herbal ingredients) I have read about. I have tried Old Amish and did not find it very effective, also the course is too short I think, and the maintenance dose too high.

If I were you I would look up these parasites and really get to know what you are dealing with. You will probably come accross the drugs for their treatment and their side effects, wether they are harmful or not. Some drugs are extremely hard on the liver. Then again if you have a good doctor he will take into account your mothers age and treat her very slowly.

Get a zapper (unless your mother has a pacemaker). This is one treatment that you can do to kill parasites and their bacteria, no matter what the medication.
