Theres no doubt that the pigs raised naturally (let run around and hormone free) are definitly tastier and better for you then that crap you buy in stores. (the bacon that comes from the neck is so much better tasting than the store bought that comes from the stomach that a pig usually does not have in the wild)
But I'm sticking to my guns that their eating habits shortens their life because they slowly poison themselves to death. My friend raises them and has to circulate the breeding pairs quite often because they die off every 5-6 years.
