I don't believe rudeness is excusable. This divide between support and debate is a sign of a worrying fragility. Its like fundamentalist religions where dissenters are dealt with quietly in a corner to avoid exposing the flock to any doubts. I see some posts are deleted - so its not free speech as such. Free to agree anyway.
