Re: Am I doing something wrong?

I am somewhat still unconvinced that Bentonite is 100% good. As long as it is not natural in the sense that it is and can be a food, you are introducing a foreign matter into the body. Furthermore, as long as it contains metal and for this matter a "heavy metal" no matter how minute, long term deposits will affect.

An analogy is Collodial Silver where proponents claimed that there is no long term effect and again minute amounts like 1 ppm. Yet there are cases of skin turning grey from deposits of silver in the body.

If this has been used for hundreds of years, I wonder why it is not more widely accepted and used by the general public?

I have looked up FDA's site that was posted regarding Bentonite and FDA is still studying and checking on the toxic effects.
