Re: CIA behind it
Regarding this quote, "Is it not strange that the anti-sugar pseudoscience appeared in the early 60's after Castro took over Cuba?"
1. Are you stating
Sugar suddenly became damaging to the nervous
system in the early 60's because Castro took over Cuba
and that it was not damaging to the body before this
time?
2. State your definition of pseudoscience.
3. Are certain reasons called pseudoscience simply because
you don't agree with them?! For example, agreeing with the
danger in highly refined, white
Sugar could cut into
your enjoyment of eating cake and ice cream or selling
it in unlimited amounts (if you are a vendor).
4. Would you know if the
Sugar manufacturing process changed after
Castro? And would you know the biochemistry involved in
the reactions between sugars and the nervous system?
Because if you no longer have anything to say about these
topics then you are the one with the pseudoscience
argument.
5. Is it possible that refined,
White Sugar would be bad for
you even if Castro had not come to power? Couldn't the
CIA have taken an action against Cuba or
sugar for a number of different reasons? Coincidence? How
do you know refined sugar hasn't been bad for humans for
the last 100 years?
6. Pseudo means something is false, pretended or a sham.
Where is your evidence for the statement you made?
