Denial ain't just a river in Egypt. You'll feel fine tomorrow but then what about the next day? I don't know your details, some have assumed incest, but at any extent, what is this person doing now? Are there other victims that you haven't protected because of your silence? I know what I'm talking about because my exwife was sexually abused by her brother in law from 5 to 12 and I know exactly what she went through because I lived it with her every day until we got divorced. Her sister knew what was going on and sid nothing because she was afraid of the guy. For me, I was physically and verbally and emotionally abused and am fairly certain that I was sexually abused too as I have a lot of strange memories about things but no actual memories of anything certain. Things like seeing my dad's penis in the shower, knowing what to do with my sister's Barbie dolls when they had their clothes off, an unusual interest in p 0 r n o g r a p h y, how to use a vibrator (all before I was 10) and a strange urge to fellate any older man I came into contact with. Later I sexually abused my pets and I have a hunch there's reasons why I knew all of this, but I am still trying to put it all together. If you know something, do something about it. Don't wait. Don't let anyone else suffer.
