I am with you on this, but it is more fun to look for some sinister cause instead.

It creates emplyment and causes the governments to try harder to fix things if they feel
that they are being blamed for causing a problem.
The liberals are in such a mode, trying to blame the governments for problems and
hoping that the next election puts them back in the driver's seat so that they can
throw money at the problem for the lowly taxpayer.
(Only problem is... IT IS THE TAXPAYER"S MONEY!!)
