Comparing maybe, but I am not

I am absorbing
I am taking in
Simply
The flow of life

The beautiful actions of life
The force of life itself expressed
In every moment, every slight gesture
Every possible thought

And what is my subject thinking?
Engrossed in their own affairs
They never know, even, that I am watching
That I am observing their life
