I see sometimes what is not there
Sometimes I feel the world doesnt care

Yet behind the cold plastic steel commercials
Are real hearts, living souls having their own issues
You need me and I need you

If we can connect all hands, just break down our fears
We could feel the one beating heart that is so near

We are connected though color and race seemingly separate
Our fences could be our own prison gates
So contemplate instead of speculate, without judging so we can relate
