Hi everybody! I am kinda new to this forum...
I experience exactly what you are talking about. Chronic sour/bitter taste in my mouth, thick white coating building up on the back on my toungue successively throughout the day. I lick my wrist sometimes during the day and it often smells awful (like vinegar mixed with crap). And when I breathe out quickly and inhale, I can sometimes smell my own breath. I always have thick mucous and phelgm in my throat and problems with stuffed and runny nose - post-nasal drip?
Sometimes (kinda often) it sounds like I am in the puberty age when one's voice changes because of the mucous in my throat, and I am 23. People are making fun of me because of that, no big deal at all really :)
HO2 makes the sour taste dissappear for awhile though, but I am a bit scared to use it as I do not really know what happens to the good bacteria in the mouth.
The thing is: years before I even knew about HO2, I've been asking my mother if I have bad breath, but without her even smelling my breath, she told me to be sure that I DO NOT have bad breath and that I DO NOT have to worry about it either. I was shocked, mostly because of her statement, she isn't that kind of person who takes things for granted without investigating. She said she have a very sensitive nose for smelling bad breath and that she NEVER EVER had smelled me. I became pissed, asking her how the h*** she could tell that without smelling me first (I have developed an "invisible wall" around me since I first noticed my bad breath about 6 years ago, so I never talk or breath at someone closer than a meter from me, not even my mum)
Mum was also angry at me, it was just as if she really knew that I don't have bad breath. Confusing...

I have also started to be obsessed with BO. When it's hot and I do physical work, I sweat insanely much. When I turn around quikly I always notice a special rank smell from me, like grease or something, even though I wash 2-3 times a day, use deodorant, perfume and ware clean clothes everyday. I also seem to "attach" the smell of a room in different houses that I am in. Sounds crazy.
What do you think, is this Body Odor something natural that I make really big (every human have an own smell) or is it the kind of BO everyone here is talking about? what does the word "fecal" means by the way? I'm not from an english-speaking country as you all may have noticed.
