Your situation sounds like mine. I always thought I had bad breath too because of the sour, metallic taste on the back of my tongue that would drive me crazy. I guess we just believe that if we can taste it, then others can smell it. In the month of April, I had all my Amalgams removed and replaced with a composite substance. I have to say since then, I don't have a sour/metallic taste in my mouth anymore. Hence, I don't believe my breath is bad anymore. One of the side effects of Amalgam exposure is bad breath. Do you have mercury fillings?
