Well..I was told that it could take up to six years to see any MAJOR effects.
I know that sounds like a really long time...but don't forget ,You have to keep going back to the Doctor on a regular basis, and get the stimulation adjustments...You might be lucky, and get quick results, depending on the amount of and type of seizures that you have.
But some patients have had results within a year. My son it has lessened the amount of seizures in my son....NOT COMPLETELY stopped them...NOT YET..but I am hopeful that we will see some more changes. NOW that we are back on track.Had some financial problems and couldn't get him to the doctor for the past year.
