Re: Immune Deficiency Disease - pls help

I agree 1000% with Tyler. I have 7 children, 4 of them ages 13 and under. I did the Incurables last summer. I am a full time homeschooling mom, plus getting the kids up and fed, doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms, fixing dinner, grading papers and helping with Science projects, so I fully understand your challenges. I'm still taking Superfood and trying to keep my system functional until I can do another round of IP.

The 5 D's to doing the cleanses are Determination, Disciplime, Discernment, Deference, and Diligence. I came up with these keys when I did the Incurables. I don't know that I had these character qualities when I started, but I developed them by going through the programs.

1)Determination- this is an inner resolve to stick with the program and see it through to the end.

2)Discipline- you have to make a schedule that incorporates the cleanses or programs into your already busy life (i.e., get up 30 minutes earlier than you do right now in order to make your teas and juices; go to bed at an earlier hour... you will come up with what works for you). I literally set a timer so I don't lose track of what I need to be doing at any given time. I'm not a robot, but I have learned good time management skills.

3)Discernment- stop putting the things into your body which make you sick (discern what they are) and start putting into your body the things that will make you well (again, discern what they are).

4)Deference- Defer (give way or yield) to the lifestyle choices that are healthy for you and stop making excuses for why you can't change... start loving yourself by taking care of yourself! This was probably my biggest challenge because I wanted to serve everyone else first and never really took time out to take care of me. I think my sweet husband was the biggest help in this regard. He really helped me to see where I was overcommitted or out of balance.

5)Diligence- sweat equity! You get out of these programs what you put into them.

Yes, some of it tastes pretty nasty. I thought to myself, "You know what? So does Robitussin."

I'm with Tyler. I sense in you the ability to do this with flying colors.

Many blessings,
-Donna
