I know there are no other FSHD people who have tried the Incurables Program. It would have been wonderful if someone had said, "Oh Donna, IP is just the cure for you!" But I felt called to be a pioneer in the research field, if you will. I had to try this. It had never been done before. If it worked, hallelujah! If it didn't, hallelujah, we know something we didn't know before. It is all a learning experience.

Sometimes you just have to decide if you're going to be the guinea pig or wait for someone else to go first.
