Dog with ACL

Hi,

Just thought I would jump in here and mention that I am healing my second dog of a ruptured ACL. The first was my great dane the second my german shepherd. I do hydrotherapy twice daily on the knee, after which I massage in Dr. S's Deep Tissue Oil, multiple cups of BF&C tea daily and at night I wrap the knee in a BFC compress. My Great Dane was completely off her leg for about a month, she then regained some use and shortly after this she had complete stability back and was running and jumping like it had never happened. I don't think my Shepherd has completely torn the ligament, possibly a partial tear or just stretched it, but the joint is unstable. He still has some use of the leg, although he is definitely lame and has suffered a lot of muscle atrophy. The vet suggested surgery but since last summer I had such great success with my other dog, I thought I should be able to fix him up too! So off I go to do another round of hydrotherapy!

Good luck to everyone, and try out the hydro, BF&C and deep tissue oil it works wonders!
