Dr. Schultz...Question please!

Hi,
I have a friend at work who has had surgery on both her hands for corporal tunnel. After the surgery she realized she has nerve damage. The Dr.'s told her they can't do any thing for her...she will need to take medication for the pain for the rest of her life! She has trouble dressing herself, driving, making dinner, etc. She has been on disability for almost two years. Is there anything she can do? I already asked her how she feels about natural healing and she loves it. So, any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
