Do you think a good massage therapist will still be helpful even though she now has nerve damage?

I really really believe in massage for carpals - now more than ever. I had carpal tunnel syndrome for 5 years. I didn't want surgery because of the nightmare stories i heard and saw (my boss's hand became paralyzed after carpal surgery tried to fix it!!!) I went to a massage therapist twice a week for 2 months and i saw some good changes. Mostly the pain was 80% gone. But I couldnt afford to keep going. I saw a devise on the web called carpalrx that massages your arm automatically. bingo...i could massage every day and the pain finally went away completely. The numbness took another few weeks. So beleive me -- masssage WORKS for carpals and dont let anybody tell you its dumb. You just need to do it every day for like 1-2 months.
