there are many alkalizing foods you can eat that are also high caloric density foods. I'm sure by now you have seen my repeated suggestions about alkalizing the body with some very good supplements, the food issue is also very important. You're right that a lot of people have trouble finding foods that are both alkalizing and provide enough calories. You can't eat lettice all day! Avocados are one of the first that comes to mind for me. They are both alkalizing, high in protein, and have about 305 cals. in a medium size fruit. lots of nuts and seeds are high in calories. Also many different kinds of beans. Unfortunately I don't have the book with me where I wrote down what foods were both alkalizing and high in calories, but as soon as I get it back I can get that to you if you like.
