Re: Health : regarding candida

This subject has come up before about not eating grains on a candida diet. It couldn't be more wrong

Can you please tell/show me where you got this information?

Yeasts feed on simple sugars, not complex carbs. It's best to avoid wheat and white rice, and pasta is practically like Sugar as far as the body is concerned, but alternative grains are perfectly okay. I ate a bowl of hot cereal just about every day on my candida diet and I cured it within 3 months. Quinoa is especially good, and brown rice is very balanced.

For really good diet rec's, recipes and explanation abuot yeast and how it feeds, read the "Yeast Connection Cookbook." It and "Juicing for Life" were two very important resources in my return to vital health.
