Oops, I'd made the wrong assumption, thinking she was too busy, like, putting up sheet rock or raising gardenias, and that it never occurred to her. I didn't know she was perfectly ok with initiating and about everything else.

I can still see that for women it's a huge step, and my observations say it still works out best when the woman is just ready meaning ready.

And gee, I can sympathize with your side too, the fact that you're thinking this over, and want to take good protective care of your own feelings and energy.
