Re: I am curious
Years ago a common contraceptive was a lemon cut in half, partially squeezed out, and used as a cervical cap. You can also use diluted lemon juice on a small sponge. It kills the sperm within seconds and will also kill the Hiv. I just read an interesting article on Mercola.com about this as well, you can do there and have a search for lemon birth control. Wild huh? He didn't give any percentage rates as to how effective this is however, but I think it would work great as a backup to your condom if you are worried about breakage ect. It does happen! (not to worry you, but just thought I should tell you) We were using the condom everyday (not just natural planning like we do now) and still became pregnant with my daughter. So a backup could be a good idea. :) As to a natural morning after...I have no idea. I know I've heard if you touch the plant Penny Royal while you are pregnant you will either miscarry, or cause defects to the baby. Another contraceptive I have heard is taking large doses of Wild Yam. Test through AK on how many your body needs just to be healthy, then double that amount and take it daily ---it supposedly will make your ova (egg) so strong that it is impenetrable by the sperm. Like a birth control pill you have to do it pretty much daily, but it is much more natural. Percentage rate of success? No idea. Why don't they do studies on this sort of thing? Probably have a hard time finding voluteers! :) lol But, do take a look at the ladycomp, it has a 99.3% success rate, which is just as good as a condom and you only have to use a condom six days out of the month. SWEET! Much better...:) I'm seriouslyyyy looking at spending the dough to get one...basically it will be what I am doing now but adding the extra temperature factor, and the computer to eliminate human error...just makes it so easy. I read a message here at Curezone, which is how I found out about it...really exciting little device. Best to you ...wait to have kids when you are ready can be a very good thing. A friend of mine waited ten years after they married before having her two boys and she highly recommends it. :)
