There is IUD, which is an abortion device and I do not recommend. Another option is the diamphram, although I do not like the idea of having to put a spermicide around the ring of it. I have looked at Ladycomp (www.ladycomp.com) and LOVE the thought of it. It has a 99.3% success rate and you only have to use a barrier birth control for about six days when you are "in heat" basically, but the thing is just so expensive...But I have not found any other model that will do even close. The Clearblue thermometors you have to refill the strips, so it is just a running cost that would quickly equal the ladycomp's price and the Clearblue doesn't do near what the Ladycomp is capable of. I'm seriously considering getting it in spite of the initial investment...if you think of it in monthly terms it pays for itself! :) We would tipically spend $30 a month on condoms if we used them everday, but just using them for six days a box would last a couple of months...instead of having to buy 3 boxes a month. :) Caitlin Lorraine
