This is not very P.C. but here goes..and I am a woman, by the way. Part of a marriage is a sexual commitment..a promise to "be" with a person emotionally and sexually. If you have done everything that you can to remedy this...and your husband is not committed enough to the relationship to order his life so that he has the "energy"( I bet he has plenty of "energy" for other things)to really "be" a husband to you, then I think that you should end the relationship.....or if their are reasons..children etc. why that is a very bad idea..then I feel in some way that you are "entitled" to be loved and held. Your husband has seriously reneged on his part of the marriage..I feel.
I get so sick of people thinking that they can put their best foot forward..and "get" someone...and then turn their attention and energies elsewhere. My last boyfriend was like that and after crying...trying to get him off of coffee..meat and his lazy mental habits..I just said..this is enough..I deserve more. Some people are just withholders.....emotionally, sexually....you know the type. And some are givers.....I am a beautiful, passionate and warm giver and I holding out for another giver. I wish you the best....you are the only one who knows..deep inside whether you are doing all that you can....often "rules", religious and otherwise...serve to protect the interests of the person(s) in power.....there is a rule, I think that surpasses all others...honesty and love. What would happen if you told your husband you needed more...and if he cannot give more you had to find it elsewhere? I wish you the best.... Tweet
