Re: you know what....

I realize that you are not attacking my beliefs and hold no malice against you, but there is something else you are doing without realizing it. Yes, I am a Christian, but I am still a human being. How many times in your life have you ever had the mere concern of being accepted as a human being? My opinions certainly are influenced by my Christianity, but, if you notice, I didn't say that anybody is an evildoer or even hint that anybody should even be self-conscious about God. I only had the hopes and expectation that I would be able to speak as a human being, be heard as a human being, and thought of as a human being. This issue of being dehumanized may seem silly to you, but it is important to me.

As to the post,...
I know that sex will happen (regardless of my opinion).
I know that abortion will happen (also regardless).

I also know that people complain about sex offenders and worry about the safety of their children. How much of a right do we have to complain about sex offenders if we are going to do anything other than discourage teenagers from being perverts in the making? Sex may be common today at that age, self-gratification may be common at that age, but worrying about an erection at that age and not being self-conscious enough to keep the matter his own business is the mark of a teenage pervert that will very likely someday be a sex offender. The girl is another consideration because she could very well end up a single mother (I'm assuming that this teenage pervert will not be very responsible and always wear a condom, silly me). It is, of course, possible that she will never become a single mother because she might have an abortion (and live the rest of her life knowing that she did that). Without school, the girl can get a good job as a p 0 r nstar and have a good career as a piece of flesh. So, you see, this is not about sex or rights, this is about the lives of...
HUMAN BEINGS.
So, it would not just be considered nice of you to not approach Christians with preconcieved notions, it might also be considered as an act of intelligence to consider the possibilty that EVEN OUR opinions can have value.
