Hi! Congratulations on your great start! I bought my psyllium husks and liquid
Bentonite at the health food store (an hour away). They didn't know what "liquid
Bentonite was, but always call it "Sonne's #7". The
Bentonite has to be kept in a dark place, so I keep it in a cupboard. I keep the whole psyllium husks in the freezer (they'll last longer). Because I bought the whole husks, I use 1 tbsp of each. I only bought one
quart of the bentonite, but now that I know I'm going to keep doing the shakes, I'll probably buy a few at a time because it is a long drive to the healthfood store.
Many people do the p&b shakes while on the MC. I will be combining them as well. You just need to drink a LOT of water to "keep it moving". The bentonite adsorbs the toxins, and the psyllium moves it out. You should start with one a day, first thing in the a.m.; then gradually move to 2, 3 and 4 a day. I never made it past 3 a day because the timing was a little difficult. But it does fill me up. If you notice you are getting too constipated, back down to one less shake/day until you are moving freely again.
I can't wait to start my MC! Today is my first day of just fruits and raw vegees; getting ready for the cleanse! I'm restarting my P & B shakes today.
