Re: Tapeworm Skin Without the Worm - help!

Thank you for the positive thoughts. That's very kind of you.

Thank you to Megan too, for the helpful suggestions! :)

What you passed sounds similar to the Tapeworm skins I saw. They looked like a transparent skin-like layer. Most of the skin looked split open and I could kind of stretch it out like elastic. Some of the worm skins were atleast 3 foot long in length but came out in several pieces. I did pass one Tapeworm with a bulb head that looked more like a solid worm, but the others looked like a covering. Below is a description I found of Tapeworms from a website which confirms what I am thinking -

"They are whitish in color, flat, and ribbon-like, with a covering that is a transparent skin-like layer." http://www.thelifetree.com/gallery.htm

Now I just have to decide between continuing the natural approach or taking the Praziquantel my doctor prescribed. I really want to make a wise decision as soon as possible and I appreciate all the suggestions and support from you all on this board.

Thank you! :)

Hayley
