Re: Islam and childmarriage
As-salaamu alaikum wa rahmantu'llah, (Peace to All)!
I pray Allah bless me with the correct wordings.
It is natural that when a child comes into puberty, they will seek, the opposite.
also, when anyone is nervous (whether it's something good or bad), their hair can come out
also, most importantly, when The Prophet (saaws) dreamt of Aisha (ra), beofre even seeing her, he (saaws) it was Allah's Will for him (saaws) to marry her.
(It is a good thing, because all dreams that are good come from Allah (swt)
The Prophet *saaws* most importantly, married Aisha (ra) because he (saaws) saw great potential in her as far as knowledge, wisdom, and he (saaws) wanted to be the one to teach her closely, so that no one else would corrupt her, in any way.
Aisha (ra), may have been only six, but the decency of him(saaws) waiting until she was ready, and really teaching her, to the point that she became one of the most knowledgeable of scholars, or in islam we say (female teachers) of the life of the Prophet (saaws).
He (saaws( did not harm her or deprive her of her youth or natural loving relations, he (saaws) was and grow in kindness even to those who wasn't of his family.
ma salaams!
