Re: Thanks, Alice, for your prompt and
informative response.
I have to add more of the symptoms that I have experienced over the years, just so people know how wide spread they can be.
Mono
Sensitivity to light and sound
Numbness and tingling in legs arms face, comes and goes.
Twitching on the left side of my face so bad that it was drawn up, duration about 4 months.
Blindness in my left eye that lasted about 8 months
Numbness in my leg that lasted about 8 months
Gall bladder removal
Appendicitis
Migraine type Headaches
Sciatica, comes and goes
Arthritic pain in my thumbs, comes and goes
Trouble finding words and remembering
Fatigue
And lately, very unsteady on my feet
All of these symptoms seem to show up when I am stressed. Then they only get worse as I stress more with the symptoms. I’ve quit several jobs because I simply could not continue.
There were years when I felt just fine. I remember these years as very active. I played tennis, volleyball in my 30 and remember being very healthy. About 12 years ago I was walking 3 miles a day and felt great. I believe that the Lyme can go dormant and only comes out when your body is not well.
My Dr. says that heat and activity are very much unliked by the Lyme. I think they don’t like the salt and the Vitamin C as well. My goal is to make my body a place where they don’t want to live.
