I had started to respond to your post yesterday, but was interrupted and had to run out the door...I love what you all have been discussing here and I just want to re-inforce it!

I think it's amazing that AFTER you had the uncomfortable experience (sophistication vs your feelings about your family) you cleansed yourself...and, yes (I've done 7 liver flushes!), actually SAW and became aware of some deep emotionally held stuff (liver holds emotions, but most specifically anger, frustration, irritation) that basically caused you to feel uncomfortable and embarassed about your family.

This seems to be KEY to your growth, don't ya think?? That's my feeling...that that dream (and the liver flushes) have totally revealed your most deep insecurity (we've all got those!)...!

And...it's clear that when you can....Accept your Family...you will Accept your Self...!
