Oh, I LOVE this take on it-

yes, I agree that my 'crush' is totally about ME
I see this person as a very educated, world-travelled woman
who still maintains an openness to people and an idealism
about the world, even though she is well aware of its many faults.

This is EXACTLY how I wish to be, and I don't feel I am there at this point.

I think I am currently going through a process of letting go of my past, or letting go of feeling that I am ruled by it-but it is very true that I have not yet succeeded.

Right now I am bringing everything up from my past- things that I wasn't really consciously aware of before, and examining it, just like the stones floating around me in the bathtub. Great insight that I hadn't thought about.
