Thank you so much for your response. It really means a lot to me. My father passed away at the young age of 64. And to think your father was taken from you at a much younger age. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

Can you please explain what you mean by saying my son has already filled his Grandpa's big shoes? My father was a high school teacher for 36 years and taught and helped tens of thousands of young people over the years. His effect on them was evidenced by the thousands that showed up at his funeral to pay their respects. I had many people come up to me and tell me that my Dad was like a father to them and/or helped them immensely during their high school years. I was never so proud of him, but still feel cheated that he is no longer around for me to talk to every day or to hug when I see him.

Every second with my son is very precious. He is the most amazing and special thing that has ever happened to me. After many years of searching, my family is now complete with a great husband and son and I am very happy. I know probably every parent feels this, but I truly know my son is special and has great things in store for him. I was never able to get pregnant before and had him when I was nearly 37. I have not been able to maintain a pregnancy since. I strongly feel there is a reason he was born and that he will fulfill a strong purpose here on Earth.

Can you tell me how I can be more aware of how my Dad is around us all the time? I want so much to reach out to him.
