Re: Sauna
Dear Joylovepeace,
I realized a better skin nearly immediately.
My sessions last 25 minutes more or less daily. I do this since the 3rd. of January this year. Sometimes I replace the sauna session by a salt water bath (2 (in words two) kg of ordinary salt per bath 10 to 15 minutes). I perspire like hell, what escorts all bad stuff out of my body. I can tell it by the smell.
Another thing: Since I use sesame oil BEFORE going into the sauna/the salt water bath the cleansing effect is even better.
Afterwards I IMMEDIATELY wipe off the sweat, rest for about 10 minutes wrapped in a huge towel and then I take a shower plus I wash my hair. In order not bo be reexposed with the stuff that was leaving my body I make sure that all towels used during the sauna session will immediately land outside on my balcony.
Also washing the hair afterwards is important. You will want to do this probably anyway after the sauna session because what comes out is so oily, dirty and very unpleasant. I forgot wahingmy hair on a few oaccasions and could not believe how dirty my pillow was the next morning. As if I had forgotten to removed my daily make up. I am not kidding.
After resting or excersing again for 10 to 15 minutes I sometimes complete the session with a quick VERY cold shower although this is not recommended after and infrared sauna. However, I realized is is got to raise my blood pressure, which by nature is VERY low.
Blessings
Hildegard
