Probiotics

Hi Andreas,

I had a Great Smokies stool analysis done a couple months ago, and it said that I had no bifidus bacteria, and a very low count of acidophilus. My holistic doctor has put me on a probiotic called HMF Intensive. It's supposed to be one of the best, and all the strains are human derived. Now, I believe I read somewhere that you don't particularly advocate the use of probiotics... why not? Since we have more microbes in our body than we do cells, do you know how long it will take for things to balance out again? Can you recommend anything to me in the way of diet/lifestyle to speed up the recovery?

Many thanks
