Re: Strongyloides and life

Wrayc
You sound really down, man (or woman). I originally suspected I have strongyloides. I still think it's a toss-up between that and schistosoma. I have these things in my blood vessels, but they set up muscle twitches - go figure. My heart's affected, as is my brain, eyes and neck. However, the original symptom I htink was a slow-healing lesion in my foot, that itched quite a bit (5 years ago). After that, a prickly feeling on my buttocks, rashes on my limbs, visual disturbances. Present day, nothing on the blood, stool or urine tests showed anything except a slight eosinophilia raised count. And the doctors have now labelled it as DP.
So what is the point of this post?
Never give up hope, I guess. I think that the herbs make a difference. I'm still not sure about the neem, as that sent me into acute symptoms, and brought all the adult worms into places where I can see them. Unfortunately, after the doctors had done their tests. So I know I've got this thing. It doesn't stop me from living.
One of the doctors said to me, "So your heart rate is 50% faster than it normally is. So what? It's still within the normal human range." It took me a while to get over the anger, but I realise he'right in a way. I can learn to live with a faster heartbeat. I have. I shouldn't have had to, but someitmes we learn so much about ourselves by what we can achieve despite the difficulties.
Doctors make me laugh. So I do my party trick - apply malathion to my foot so that Fred - the worm that lives on or beside the extensor digitorum brevis - will do his wriggling around bit. Fred responds albeit rather sluggishly. The doctor squishes him around, then discovers that where Fred connects to my vein - he pulses in time with my heart. "Oh, it must be a vascular lake," he says. Talk about blind. He ignored all the twitching, wriggling, and went for an explanation taht fits his reality.
There's nothing I can say to convince these guys. It doesn't matter. I've decided to carry on using the neem, and the Clarkia . I've also started taking cat's claw and echinacea (not the special TOA-free kind), and olive leaf to boost my immune. And you know what - I feel great. I use h202 to bring the babies up out of my skin, dissolve them with vinegar, or pick them up with sellotape. I'm getting fewer and fewer babies. My Colon Cleanse continues, albeit with no signs of mucoid plaque. I'm kind of disappointed about that, expecially after reading Seunnim's posts about the stink.
I'm alive. I can try to do something about this, and enjoy every day that I have.
If you're into the metaphysical new-agey kind of thing, then this may be a lesson in how people view reality, inlcuding the medical institution as an entity. Okay, I'm not making sense, I'll shut up now.

I hope you find courage and strength in this.
