Omega-3 and ADHD

Americans have a deficiency of omega-3 fatty acids in their diet. You might read up on the importance of the proper ratio of omega-3 to omega 6 EFAs. Flaxseed is a good cheap source and it is best to grind your own instead of buying flour or oil.

I believe in getting a little coconut oil in your diet and some people here spend lots of money on it and drink it out of the bottle/container. The coconut oil forum is one of the most active ones at CureZone. I have adopted doing what little frying I do with coconut oil and use it on salad.

Having a correct intake of omega-3 to omega-6 is something people should do anyway, as is using coconut oil. Here are Google results for ADHD omega-3 - http://tinyurl.com/fpzfg Another good search would be an Internet search for Ritalin omega-3 - http://tinyurl.com/jk9w9
