Re: Blastocystis Hominis

I have been very sick since December 2005. It started with Stomach pain and extreme bloating by March I also had dizzyness, brain fog etc. Eventually the symptoms got so bad I was no longer able to go to work.

In Late April I was diagnosed with Blasto.

I contacted Jackie D from badbugs.org and was provided the details of the drug therapy recommended by the Sydney clinic. I then obtained and took the drugs. It has now been five weeks since I completed the drugs.

Since completing the meds my symptoms have reduced, but they are certainly not yet gone. My stomach pain has reduced, I am still dizzy but not so often, and the bloating has reduced. Two weeks after finishing the meds I was restested using samples taken over 3 days in a fixative, the tests were negative for Blasto. Three weeks after finishing the meds I returned to work.

Late last week, I started seeing a local doctor that Jacki recommended, he has started me on a mixture of anti-parasitic herbs. I am also being re-tested for parasites.

So, am I cured? Who knows, I guess when the next lot of tests come though in a couple of weeks I will have a better idea. If you want further info, let me know.
