sometimes it could just be blood from an irritated nose- but check if you see any firm clear strands- with a very thin vein of blood inside of it- running right up it like a thin red stripe. That's the worm.

The body is clear like firm gel- it isnt gloppy like the rest of the mucous that may come out with it. you may see it along with some blood in the nose- as they do irritate the mucous membranes by attaching to them. Tweet
