starving parasites?

Hi MiamiNice....so Dr Clarke says parasites can be starved? I didn't think it was possible. At one time I was under the impression that I could starve the vermits and tried a couple extended water fasts. Hardest thing I ever did! But it didn't even touch them, they survived just fine.

That was when I really started to understand how resiliant they can be. I think taking away their favorite food items aggrevates them though, maybe weakens their grip too....but I didn't think they could be starved...can they? What does Dr Clarke say?
