Re: Tapeworms?

The cloves are great -- I just used ordinary (but really good quality) cloves from the gourmet section of our grocer, and they killed many fluke worm eggs.

Our vets also told us that humans cant get Tapeworm from dogs, but with all the way these microbes mutate-- one never can be 100 percent sure. There have been some cases with photos i've seen of humans actually infested with heartworm from dogs. All living organisms mutate and change over time- to adapt. Even various bacterias that only infest birds, can now infect humans.

Also, there are variuos TYPES of tapeworm-- Some the dog may carry only the larvea- and it wont affect him- but will infect you if you pick up the larvea from the dog.

Best to err on the side of precaution- and if you have pets especially, you should yourself keep on a maintenance deworming program. Some say once a week for life- and that is what im doing now.

Also, pets should be dewormed on a Maintenance schedule- with herbal dewormers. They pick up many parasites from fleas, other animal feces and us humans as well-

P.S-- Arent puppies adorable!!! I love kittens and pups! They are sooo vibrant after they are completely dewormed!
