Re: TELEVISION DOCUMENTARY on Unidentified Skin Parasites

Have you been in touch with Mary from Morgellons? Or anyone from NUSPA?
Our local San Francisco Bay Area TV station has done two segments on this unidentified skin parasite. In fact, I agreed to be interviewed, but was put off in favor of someone who has tested positively for Lyme.
I have had this for five years and had all but given up on a diagnosis (other that DOP) until I found the NUSPA website and discovered that this is really prevalent and everyone seems to have been similarly ignored by doctors, esp. dermatologists who never even look at you once you complain of having skin parasites. When the lesions were really bad, I was hospitalized twice and fed iv Antibiotics (diagnosed folicilitis and cellulitus. I believe this is why I no longer have the lesions. I do have the fibers terribly and now my limbs are often numb and stiff, and my upper back often aches. The scariest, most recent development of this is this paralysis I've been having in my sleep; sometimes like five or six times in a row, usually right when I'm about to start to dream, I'll wake up and be unable to move anything for a while. If my boyfriend is here, he wakes me up, because I am unable to scream. I am totally stuck and it scares the hell out of me. Especially now, when I have it about every other night. (always accompanied by goose pimples and severe stiffness) I don't know if anyone else has this (I did find one girl on the internet with lyme http://www.lymedisease.com/erin.htm if anyone's interested) But that's enough about me for now. I'm tired 'cause I stay up late since I dred going to bed these days, but I'm happy to talk to anyone that will help get our plight exposed (I do share nearly all of the common symptoms of this bizarre parasitic infection). I'm tired of my friends and family thinking that this is in my head and not physiological. Feel free to e-mail me at snellmonster@yahoo.com or call 408 723-0857.
ps i am an educated, 34 year old woman with no history of hypochondria or any other mental illness. other than this, I have been extraordinarily healthy.
Thank you for your interest and best of luck!
