Re: +VERY IMPORTANT food for thought AND REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION...Re: Beware!!! If Oxy made you WORSE, IF1 can TOO

The warning bells went off for me when I read that Oxypowder should be used for a lifetime of maintenance. While researching the Intestinal Formulas and similar products, I read quotes from both MH and Dr. Shulze that their formulas were natural and could/should be used for a lifetime. This is not what I want! I plan on doing both IF #1&2 and hopefully will see some improvement if not a cure. Do you think it would be a good idea to wean off IF#1 first and then #2? Perhaps that way the body can regain natural muscle tone. I have also found some abdominal exercises that are supposed to improve peristalsis. Deep breathing, stretching and walking are also supposed to help (although I cannot walk without a cane or walker at this time).

I have a cousin (alcoholic, chain smoking and Atkins diet fanatic) who has not had a BM in nearly 30 years without a laxative. I do not want this to happen to me. Yesterday I had a raw broccoli salad, today I am miserable and in pain. My body cannot tolerate much fiber. I suspect I will be on IF#1 for some time, so I am worried about natural peristalsis being affected, but then I hardly have any now, so I am going to try this program. If I'm not better by tonight though, it will be Epsom Salt time :(. Two years ago I had amazing results with P&Bs; today I cannot eat salad, so I appreciate all the help and advice, plus prayers sent this way.
Thanks for another good post. Now I have to get to work and stop crying from the pain and weakness, no more salads for now.
