Re: A question for Ptree...

Thank you so much for your response. I do believe I am undernourished because I don't seem to digest anything. I 've tried so many enzymes that I've lost faith in them. Right now, most of what I eat is cooked, so I know I won't get enzymes there, but raw foods are hard to digest. Can you recommend a good enzyme supplement?

I have tried the candida diet so many times- and have been now doing it for about two weeks, with moderate success. I've been eating chicken and fish, eggs, rice, legumes, nuts, vegetables, some fruits- but I find myself too constipated by the animal protein. On the other hand, when I stick to carbs, I crave sweets too much and cheat by eating more fruit or rice syrup, but that makes my vaginitis worse! I've been taking olive leaf also, and cannot digest garlic- before that, it was grapefruit seed that didn't help. I feel like I'm just barely keeping the worst symptoms at bay, without getting at the root of it.

I think my craving are better than they used to be, but I still get them late at night, when I know I should just go to bed. Of course I don't sleep well because of the fibromyalgia, so my judgement is not that great!

Is the metagenics product you mentioned a multivitamin supplement? I'm not currently taking one, but my colonic therapist would like to start me on a regimen of vitamins, minerals, grape seed, etc. I do however know a chiropracter who uses metagenics products, so I could check it out.

I have to confess that money is so tight, so I really have to be sure that I'm using stuff that works!

Thank you for all your help, Terry.
