rotting

i tend to agree with #37276. the bloating has to be diet related. food allergies , decompossing food, sluggsigh systems...yada, yada, yada...i have a friend that eats nothing but meat and potatoes and bread (religiously), but every now and then her body craves vegetables. i try to convince her to eat balanced meals, but she just doesn't have it in her. point is her body reacts adversely to what it needs. bloating, gas, squeeky bo-bo's, cramps, etc for days after adding the roughage back into her diet, which turns her even more against vegetables (in the thirteen years i've known her i don't think i've ever seen her eat a fresh piece of fruit!). we all expect our body's to rejoice when we make a change towards health, but i don't think that's a logical reaction for something that's forgotten how to function properly. like being nice to people doesn't guarantee that they're going to be nice back. emotional retardation...physical retardation, etc. seems it's all about UNCONDITIONAL LOVE..."we're going to stick with it, and see it through because it feels right, because i care." of course knowing when to let go doesn't hurt either. it's a full time gig, staying healthy, getting healthy, etc...i just know a lot of people that throw words around...like amaranth, whole grain, rennet-free, and macrobiotic, etc...they drink bottle water, eat wraps, and buy organic, but they're really clueless about their health. it's not an image thing, it's not to win friends and influence people...ten lbs. gained doens't mean anything if you feel better inside.

Q: did anyone stick with it "past" the ill effects, and notice a change for the better?
