Re: Argh... two weeks and still constipated! Help!
The psyllium husk products that I have seen and used are very finely ground - I haven't seen any whole husk products. I know that Andreas says that psyllium is irritating to the digestive tracts of some people - perhaps you are one of them? I like psyllium and
Bentonite for colon cleansing, but have used magnesium products, too.
From everything that I have experienced and read, the magnesium products are extremely safe and gentle. They work because the oxygen molecules attached to them react with hydrogen molecules in plaque, to form water. One of the ways that people know these products work is from the stench of what gets released into the toilet.
Andreas warns that probiotics cause constipation in some people, too. I don't know why this is so, but he has a lot of expertise. I have been eating miso soup everyday as I go through my inner cleansing process, and that as a natural source of probiotics has been working very well for me.
I did get a home enema kit, thanks to recommendations here on Curezone, and have found it very helpful. I am using
coffee enemas to alleviate detoxification symptoms. It helps tremendously.
