Re: Hydrogen peroxide

Certain viruses (for example HIV, Herpes, HPV, CMV, and others) have lipid envelopes around them. They are membranes made of fat that surround the virus. The fat is oxidized by the peroxide, and without the envelopes, the viruses can't reproduce. However viruses are tricky, and can hide out in places the peroxide can't reach (like bone marrow and other places), so you can't really "cure" these viruses, but you can put them into remission so that the immune system is able to keep the virus supressed. However, with viral diseases like AIDS where the immune system is weakened, it's difficult to put the virus into remission, although some people have claimed to become HIV- after using ozone therapy, while others say they've have had a remission in symptoms even though they are still HIV+. Many people with herpes find they have a breakout of cold sores while using peroxide or ozone therapy, but then it goes away and never comes back. I didn't even know I had herpes, and yet I also had a few cold sores when I first started the therapy.

If you want more info on viruses and peroxide/ozone therapy, read some of the links I've posted on previous threads.
