Re: is it normal for pain to be around so long?

I have had 4 diverticulitis attacts in the last 4 years. The first three times they responded well to Antibiotics . This last and current attach I had for the last six weeks. I've been on and off cipro and flagyl and feeling quite badly. I have an appointment with a surgeon next week. I will tell you, I usually feel the best when I put myself on a clear liquid diet. When I increase to a bland diet, after about 2 or three days the pain returns. Even if I'm on Antibiotics .

I don't want to have surgery but I can live with this chonic pain. Tweet
