Hi Julia, if you go back to the Liver Flush Forum #8(I think) you will see a huge response to a similar question. There was a person who posted, I think it was PaintLady? and she suggested iron. Well I did notice that I get these same symptoms after my period, you know a lot of blood loss which would definitely affect iron. So I have been making a point of taking the strong blackstrap molasses and my symptoms are gone. Now I just had my period and you guessed it the symptoms are back again, but not as severe and not when I lie down to go to sleep. Be careful what kind of iron you consume. I got out a nutrition book and educated myself about all of the different types. There are some supplements that my doctor put me on and it never increased my iron at all, I just felt lousy. That was because it was not easily absorbed. What a waste of my time and effort. I also read that if you take iron with calcium, the calcium will get absorbed first and not so much the iron. I tried to understand it the best I could, but I am not a nutritionist. Maybe you should go see your doctor, but in the meantime a little extra absorbable(spelling?) iron wouldn't hurt.
