I don't know if you're still checking this post but I had to respond. I used to drink a ton of soda myself. Last January I stared replacing my soda drinking with sweet tea. Not the best alternative but I figured it was still better than soda. In June I was drinking only a soda a week. Then I went to a birthday party and had 4 sodas in one day. Afterwards, I felt horrible. But this feeling was quite familiar. It was how I always felt when I drank soda. I did not feel sick when I drank soda nor did I think that I was feeling any different after stopping. It wasn't until I experienced this immediate comparision that I realized how much better I was feeling. Now I'm replacing my tea drinking with water. I think tea to water is easier than soda to water. I think you need to get over the carbination before the sweetness. At least that's my opinion. Anyway, I hope you read this.
