I must admit the lady that seems to not like my son does not know me. I heard through the grapevine (my sons friend told my son which in turn told me) that she does not want her children to hang out with anyone that does not go to their church &/or she does not know the parents. I do understand this somewhat because this is the first home I have let my son go to that I did not know the parents & each time the parents were home & I talked to the boy & the mother & didn't have any bad feelings about it. I too always felt as though I needed to know the parents & talking to someone once on the phone does not mean you know them. As for the church thing... I don't quite know what to think of that. We go to different churches (same denomination) but that doesn't me a thing... but there again my son is 17 & he has shown great maturity (other than the little fit about not being liked,lol) & I have NEVER NEVER NEVER had a bad report on him. I am extremely blessed with kids that are really good kids with good heads on their shoulders. I say this knowing what friends & family have been through with their teens.
